Dawn,

I have experienced this " pain, " especially on my left side where lymphs were

removed. It is muscular, but you should get it checked out.

Best to you, my friend,

Hello all. For several months now I have been having sporadic chest

wall pain - on the left side of my chest - same side I had a

mastectomy in 2001.

It is normally a burning pain - when I press on the pain - it

responds to the pressure (hurts more) as if I am touching the

actual " sore " spot.

I do not have a regular oncologist at this time - my surgeon was

following me until last year. I have been in to see my family

practice physician who has run a few tests - a CT scan (negative)

and most recently a bone scan (negative).

Today I contacted my surgeon because I am at my wits end. I don't

know what to think about this pain. It has been 5 years since my

initial diagnosis - with no problems since that time.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? I will be seeing my surgeon

in a couple of weeks - soonest they could get me in. The nurse

mentioned something about running some labs - a CEA ??? I have

never had any " markers " done - no lab work to check on anything.

Any suggestions about what this could be would be helpful.

Thanks,

Dawn
