Re: Slightly OT: Car seat Quandry

I would go to different stores and test out the different car

seats. CR rates the Roundabout, the Alpha Omega Elite, and the

Evenflo Triump advance the best. I didn't like the Evenflo Triumph

in the store...it was too difficult for me to adjust the straps. I

would also go on babies r us or another site and read the different

reviews. You'll find the love/hate relationship thing with most

carseats (or most products). When we talked to BRU, they steered us

away from the carseats that go up to heigher weights/heights which

to me kind of makes sense (just because it fits a 12 month old

doesn't necessarily mean it will fit a 4 year old even if the 4 year

old is within the height/weight limits so you may still have to get

an inbetween seat). Anyways, just figure out what works best for

you...ask questions, find out the safety ratings (which I still

think CR is reputable), test them out (take your babies to the store

and put them in the different seats so you can see how they work for

your little ones), etc.

Good luck.
