Guest guest Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Sometimes I don't mess around ... but I'm just taking this one day at a time. I went to the store last Thursday and was really "stressed" and wanted Blue Bell SOOOO bad!! My solution was just not to go near where it is (and believe me I know EXACTLY where it is). I made it out without Blue Bell and called my daughter (she's our weight recorder) when I got home ... she was so proud of me that it made it worth not having the ice cream. And stepping on the scale yesterday and having a loss made it worth it a second time. Each victory gets me closer to goal!!!! I WANT TO GRADUATE IN WACO in 2007!!!!! Thank you to everyone for the encouragement. That helps me make it through each day. ((Hugs)) JeanetteHamilton and Feeser wrote: Wow, Jeanette!!! Guest guest Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Awesome willpower Jeanette! I looooove ice cream too and stay away from that aisle altogether. Doesn't it feel good to do something for your self that is so good for you? Keep that willpower alive! It's not my daughter who reached Century Club but our chapter queen, Betty Harpin. Ooops! I must have misread what you wrote. Did Betty reach CCIW, or has she already completed her year-in-waiting? I'll have everyone in my chapter sign a card for her on Tuesday night. If your address is correct on the TOPSWonders site, I'll just send it to her in c/o you. Reaching Century Club is quite an accomplishment and our chapter is always happy to applaud/encourage TOPS members, near and far. hugs, Janet Quote
Guest guest Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 Janet, That's OK if you misread it ... it's quite a long list and just keeping track of it all is a monumental task. And "thank you" for it. Betty Harpin finished her year of CCIW on 9/27/2005 and I just sent the form to Kay to get her century club award. She's such an inspiration!! And, yes, the address should be correct and "thank you and your chapter" in advance for the card. It will be much appreciated by Betty, I'm sure. I also have to say that I like your idea about making a list and crossing off each item as it gets done. I'll have to try that to see if I can get CHAOS free ... 'cause I sure don't want anyone coming to my house right now!!!!!!! TOPS ((Hugs)) Jeanette Hamilton and Feeser wrote: >>>Jeanette wrote: There's a correction on the Praise section.
