Today I am having a lot of painful joints :(

Hi Kerry,

This was my last symptom to go away and still pops up when I have any iodine. I

thought it was ironic the other day when I read it was your one knuckle that

hurts-that's me too! I would check your supplements and make sure there's no

iodine, bladderwrack, kelp etc. One thing I have found to be a great

antiflammitoy of Black Currant Oil. I use this when my back gets bad. I have

scoliosis, herniated discs and other problems. But it also helps with the joint

pain. I take 2000 mg per day every day. You can take up to 7000 mg per day if

it's really bad (as I was after surgury). I learned this from Lulu at the

About.com Forum and I'll be eternally gratefull to her as I was having to take a

lot of pain pills just to be able to work and was afraid I'd end up addicted.

The BCO REALLY works, but you have to take enough. Hope this helps!
