Guest guest
, You have every right to be angry! That is ridiculous! I can't believe this is happening to you! I would definitely appeal too. Smart that you have documented the conversation. It really stinks that nobody will give you their last name anymore these days. It is so easy to turn around and say " we don't have anyone by that name " if you only have a first name. Some companies record their conversations though so if you have the date and the time you might want to ask them about it. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that they will make things right for you! Today I received a letter in the mail from UHC saying that we are now denied. What the ****!!!!!I'm so angry right now!!! I called them and told them they needed to fire the woman I talked with (debbie) and they tell me they have no idea who she is. I can't beleive that in their records or on the computer her info isn't somewhere. UGH! I spoke to the care coordinator and she said nobody could give me the approval or denial info except someone from her department. She said the letter is proof that it is denied and that we could appeal or have a peer-to-peer consultation with the medical director and our Dr. Can you also believe that the letter was written on the same day as when I spoke to Debbie (7/13/06). Of course I have everything written down in my notebook.I'm so going to appeal this!!!!!!! I did write to my senate and house reps this morning before all this happened about this. Sorry for sounding so angry.Mom to andra-3 and 6 months (tomorrow) plagio-Starbanded 7/25/
