Yes, it is a lot of figuring out. It takes time to figure out what best for

YOUR body. I've been working on this for over a year, but if I was going to

be treated by a doctor, it would be the same thing. Each person is very

unique, and what works for one person isn't necessarily what would work for

another. I do know though, that our bodies should have T3 throughout the

day, not just all at once. Even in someone who's totally thyroid hormone

resistant (taking a very large dose doesn't have that big effect on them for

those hours after dosing), the body does need the T3 throughout the day,

even more so. I'm unable to take a full grain at one time, at this time, so

I have to mimmick the effects of " little and often " , sort of like the way

the healthy thyroid originally dispensed the stuff, yet I know that I

couldn't possibly go without the direct T3 and the other things in the

Armour. I don't know what that is doing that (not to be able to take a lot

at once), but several times a day is what is working best for me. That

doesn't mean that I feel my optimal best, it just means that, looking back,

I know that I feel a whole lot better than I did while taking T4-only

treatment. It takes a lot of time, and by time I mean we have to work on

this the rest of our lives because it's our lifetime disease. I've come to

accept that, but I still get angry and frustrated that I have to think

during the day to take a pill, for the rest of my life. Then I have to

think about some other horrible terminal diseases and think " Hey, I'm

grateful that at least mine is treatable " .
