In the beginning I volunteered at my children's school's alot...but now I find i can't even do that..because I can't committ to something day's in advance...I have to take it day by day and sometimes minute by minute. I came to the conclusion...we define ourselves...no one else does...and we are the person who judges who we are more harshly then anyone else would. So make that judgement the right one..don't base it on who you were and aren't anymore...you are the same person now..hopefully a better one as the years go by. I have to go get ready to go meet you...lol So...cya soon...Hugs..Ginny

Ginny,

That is so true about the time I will look up at the clock when I am reading, e-mailing or doing my cross stitches and I will be so surprised at the time!

I hope all you gals have a great time together, I am trying not to be too envious of you guys but I don't.

I still miss my job or rather the wonderful group of women that I worked with. I was so tired and worn out by the time I couldn't go on anymore it was (like I have said before) almost a relief. I didn't have to ride in a car for 45 minutes work 8 hours, sometimes missing lunch, then ride home for another 45 to 50 minutes, I would get home take 2 of my pain pills, because I couldn't stand the pain anymore.

I too have decided that, no job, having or not having kids, your husband, or anyone else and especially this disease can define who you are, that it is you and you alone who can define who you are and try to set goals and limitations that are realistic and that you can accomplish, for me it is to get through a certain book by the time, or getting so much of my counted cross stitch done, and then there the days when staying awake an hour is an accomplishment.

Take care,

Lin
