Guest guest
Dawn, Some chiropractors are very good and knowledgable about some things...RSD is not one of them though. They know about joints, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and herniated discs....they do not know about alot of other things. Some chiropractors are not good and give good chiroprators bad names...they are the ins paid ones...the ambulance chasers, the ones lawyers send you to so they can fake injury to win money for people never really injured in car accidents, work accidents or any other accident that will make them money and the lawyer. I do hope that your lawyer can do something about this. I can see them sending you to a neurologist, psychologist, orthopedic surgeon or neuro surgeon...but a chiroprator is ridiculous to see and get an opinion on RSD. If they want a good evaluation they would definetly send you to a board certified dr who specializes in RSD...or whatever they are trying to get an opinion on. The more I hear about ins comps and the IME's the more I get discouraged It's horrible that drs would compromise themselves and their integrety by working for and being paid by ins comps and giving almost if not totally falsified evaluations of people with real disorders...it worries me that this is what the world of healthcare is coming to. Hoping you a better day...Hugs...Ginny wrote: Hi All, You will not believe this. Today in the mail I get directions to the IME's office for the appointment I have. They are sending me to see a chiropractor. I completely do not believe them. Please tell me how many of you go to see a chiropractor for treatment! This I am calling my attorney about on Monday. I already know that this doctor is bought and paid for. Know doubt in my mind. Well take care everyone and hope that you are having a good day. LOL Always! Dawn, That is a new one on me. I've had a Orthopedic doctor,a psychologist doctor, and the infamous Dr. O, he has written several articles on how RSD doesn't exist. He also will testify for WC and probably other insurances, that is his opinion. But he did say he found some neurological problem, he was the one who was going to have me go to Bethseda land for a special brain MRI. So I am interested in what this chiropractor.
