Guest guest Posted December 11, 2004 Report Share Posted December 11, 2004 hi u dont know me but i have rsd and been with the group for 5yrs havnt posted much in the last year. but my experience with withdrawl was simimular to what jai said but i got them with-in 13hrs by the third day i iwas in icu intubated but my potaasium had dropped anfd i had sezuers and a high fever. my suggestion is call the answering service tell the you are having severe pain and need to talk to your doctor asap. you need not go through the hell it can cause. i was although on dilaudid and the doc took me off cold turkey. needless to say ialmost bit the dust and he is out of the picture. The er can and have scrips in the the ER, And they should give you a shpt to catch you up. If you cant get through to the Doctor they can. Good luck and LMK what happens.
