I understand. and it works both ways. Hypo is usually considered as gaining weight...but I never did except for 5-8 lbs. in the month before diagnosis...folks had always told me I was skinny. I think that's one reason why the docs never took my concerns about me having thyroid disease seriously. So I guess there are exceptions to all norms....
