There are much better trigger point therapies. The sustained pressure method works just fine without any stupid needles or dangerous drugs. Now, during a trigger point treatment, I may happen to let a few curse words slip my lips and I may call Dad some things I wouldn't get away with under other circumstances. However, that has to be less painful by far than sticking a needle deep into the muscle! I can't find the article anymore, only a reference to it, but I did read months ago about a Florida woman who DIED after having these botox injections. This is the latest " craze " in modern western medicine and there are a lot of sites out there that promote it, but the same sites that tout its effectiveness are created by clinics that provide the services. If it is for something different, there are some very legitimate medical uses for Botox.
