Guest guest
Hi all -- This plan of Bush's to target prescription drugs also really bugs me. I believe that whatever medication a person is on is between that person and their doctor -- they are the only two who know what is best. It is none of the government's business - they needn't stick their noses into our private business. Maybe because Bush is so inept at curbing the cocaine/heroin business, he feels this is an easy one to go after and he might be able to say -- " see, I fight drug abuse!! " . What an idiot!!!!!! As for the Congress ---- don't they already have enough problems which they do not deal with??????? If I need a pain med or muscle relaxant or whatever, I don't want some yo-yo in DC to tell me what and what not I can have. As far as I am concerned, they have no clue and will probably take " money " from drug companies to promote certain drugs -- regardless of whether it helps the patient or not. Enough said and, thanks everyone for letting me vent. All the best, Patti Re: Re: Bush policy to target prescription drugs Tracking patients' > use ke... > > ... The intent is to help people who are addicted to pain killers > to get the help they need and to stop doctors from prescribing medications > to addicted patients. Sorry I cant seem to keep my mouth shut on this... I feel is intent is to cut pharmacuetical companies a huge profit; give away a few more of our rights (if that is at all possible); continue to do whatever experiment they want and track the results of those experiments. They don¹t care about people at all; just profit and they have found a way to market it that might appeal to some. Consider Cheney and the oil companies; and now they want to cut a profit on all of us in another way - we the Baby Boomers; the majority. And they are hoping that the US will continue to be clueless sheeple who just plod along thinking only the thoughts that they allow us to have. Well; those are just a few of my thoughts; I have more But I will stop there. Peace! laxity@...
