Guest guest
Hi Chris. Your girlfriend's experience is the experience of most all of us here who were once on T4-only meds, both with continuing symptoms as well as ignorant docs. It's sad. Yes, there are many alternative sources. The keeper of those sources is , and you can contact her here (just click on it even if it's a broken link): artisticgroom@... We do not make them public as to protect the sources. Most of the OTC sources are now providing Naturethroid, which is another brand name, and I think we would recommend that over the generic, and definitely over Nutri-Meds. Nutri-Meds is a great in an emergency, but there is no regulation as to whether it's sufficient from dose to dose. Generics are used by several here, but it appears to be weaker, meaning you would need more than Armour or Naturethroid. Hope that helps. Be sure to take a look at the NATURAL THYROID 101 which was posted earlier today. There are also plenty of things to read in the FILES section.
