Barbara,

i dont mean to bother you but I was hoping you wouldnt mind helping

me find articles on something. You are pretty good at research,

actually real good.

I need to find articles on grey matter lesions ( especially of the

spinal cord ) in Mitochondrial disease. I have read statements that

say that grey matter lesions are found in Mitochondrial diseases, but

it doesnt state much more. I have a lesion that enhances with

gadolidium in my spinal cord. I am told it is mito related. I will

try to get in the chat with Cohen on Monday to ask but sure would

appreciate any help you can offer.

thanks so much

Hi ,

I will see what I can find, but it may be a few days. I haven't

tried to track this subject before, so will have to start from

scratch. The abstracts (summaries) that are available on PubMed may

not contain the detail that you are looking for. If we can find a

promising article that focuses on that subject, it may be possible

to get full text, but usually at some cost, maybe $30. But I'll see

what I can find for free. And yes, I'm sure Dr. Cohen could point

you to some good references on the subject and maybe give you a

brief summary in the chat.
