Guest guest
I think you have all the right to request a repeat of the test. It was an easy situation with me, my original tests 17 years ago came all positive for Lupus and you know if they did so many years ago, then there is absolutely no question. I completely don't agree with the use of the word " mild " . I was considered " mild " for many years, but that doesn't change the fact that when I started I was serious, but then went into remission. When I flared again after a long remission, it was not mild at all. It's just an illness that can go either way, and hopefully it will just get " milder " in your case. The seriousness depends on the particular flare you are experiencing. Then, it's easy for a healthy doctor to diagnose something as mild. He/She does not feel the pain or the limitations or the suffering of the person they are diagnosing. I normally put a happy face on, I have a great pain tolerance. I make jokes when I get admitted into a hospital, even if I am in pain. Many doctors comment that I do not have a disposition of a sick person, but again, it doesn't mean that I am experiencing mild symptoms. Take care .
