Guest guest Posted January 22, 2004 Report Share Posted January 22, 2004 I am wondering if women who have had removal of a subserosal fibroid would post a msg. I have 2 fibroids. The submucosal is scheduled to be resected on March 23rd. My subserosal is 5 cm and is on the outside of the uterus. The doctors COULD NOT assure me that once he began to remove the subserosal fibroid, he would avoid a hysterectomy. Therefore, I chose to not have that one removed because I want to keep that vital organ. The doctors told me the subserosal one does not cause all the bleeding. Is pressure the most I will have to tolerate with the subserosal fibroid? I am 44 and hoping this one does not get any larger. Thank you for your help and information.
