Guest guest
Yes.. we refer to those as ice pick pains. Alice Stabbing Pain? As I sit here reading posts, occassionally I get a HORRIBLE stabbing pain sometimes followed by a brief myoclonic jerk. Just a few moments ago, it happened in my big toe, at the top, like someone had driven a thin needle straight through it. Felt the pain all the way up to my hip. I get other incidents of this type of pain randomly throughout the day, sometimes so bad, I reflexively emmit a rather loud 'ohhhhh'. Can't help it. Just happens. Do any of you experience this kind of pain?? ~Kathy~ Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
Kathy I have the ice pick, water running, bug biting and other types of neuropathy. My ice pick pains are sometimes followed by an itching in that area. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2004 20:41:09 -0000 > To: > Subject: Re: Stabbing Pain? > > > Ice Pick!! Guest guest
Oh my gosh!! I have that too!! Sometimes when I itch the spot, I get myoclonus...just like when you scratch a dogs tummy and the leg thing happens.. It's sooo good to know I'm not alone in all this, even if it turns out I don't have mito disease, it's sure been a relief for me to know there are others out there that have similar symptoms! Woof-Woof! ~Kathy~ In , Laureta Fitzgerald wrote: > Kathy > > I have the ice pick, water running, bug biting and other types of > neuropathy.
