mito and bipolar ()

Dear :

I have a 15 y.o. son with bipolar and add. ( Just some advice...for

insurance purposes..your doctor should use the code of mood disorder as in the

future,

the person who has bipolar may be denied insurance...mood disorder is sort of

amorphous.

I wrote to the husband and wife team who wrote The BiPolar Child about mito

and the unusually large amount of affected with ADD/ADHD and BiPolar. They

were very interested and I referred them to the UMDF site. Whether or not they

do

any further research I don't know..

As you know, mito can affect every and any order in the body, including the

brain!

You could write the authors of that book (their name escapes me right now) to

seee if their picked up on the mito connection, To anyone who has a bipolar

child, I would also encourage them to write the doctors to see if they are

exploring the connection,
