Mike, Thanks for telling me about what I could use on these terribly painful sores. Could I get that Bag Balm at like Wal-Mart or would I have to go to a natural supplement place? I take Mycelex for the mouth sores. It's just the nose and ear sores that's really getting to me. They are so painful. Almost indescribable. I'm not going to give up the fight when it comes to getting this disability. I know my limitations and I am truly sick. This is really becoming a pain in the patootie though. I have tried explaining the Prednisone to my grandmother but some times it's like talking to a brick wall. I think she's larger than life most of the time. She's always been a beauty queen and I've tried to follow in her foot steps. But I'm forgetting that right now is the time to be sick and I shouldn't be so focused on how I'm looking. I'll do better. I was on 60mg but have been tampered down. I'm now taking 20mg Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 10mg on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. My doctor is behind me 100%. I was crying and throwing a fit in the office earlier today and he was really patient and calm with me. He said that I wouldn't be able to work though. At least for another year or two. About the Weight Watchers, you think I need to just give it a rest right now until I'm on a lower dose of Prednisone? Thanks for all the information again. -. -- Re: Too Much Soup And Sandwich (Venting -- Big Time) , Firstly, your grandmother means well, but you need to speak to the attorney to get thestraight story. And, no atty. who is honest in his/her dealings with clients would expect payment until you receive your back SS pay, and can take a percentage, by law, of that settlement. You then would be eligible for Medicare coverage, possibly Medicaid, and certainly a monthly income from SS.Make sure you have all your ducks in a row with medical history, tests, letters from doctors, especially specialists involved in your care, and most importantly, DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
