Guest guest
Our health care system is beginning to look like the third world. It is frightening. An old friend of mine in his 80's had to go to the hosp. to get a shunt put in his heart. It was a brand new hosp. and was open only one week. He lives in Utah. They gave him a nice staff infection in there and he has been hanging on to life in the hosp. for months. He just got home. I am getting more afraid of hospitals. If my husband goes in, I will not leave him. Cheryl in CA -- Re: regarding doctors for Mojo Hi Mojo, Your story is very disturbing. You know I once had a nurse tell me that people went to the hospital to die. That the doctors and nurses didn't care anymore. I couldn't believe what she said to me! I know the care one gets in the hospital is lacking from personal experience. My husband spent a several days in the hospital after major surgery. If I wasn't there with him he wouldn't have gotten the things he needed. I would have to go and find a nurse or a doctor for him. I had to leave my husband for an evening so I could get some rest myself and when I returned the next morning, my husband was on his feet! ready to leave. He said he couldn't get anyone to respond to him for hours after I left. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
