Life can Be an Amazing Experience

I just found out that one of my standard poodles most likely has

's Disease. A few weeks ago we had to take him to the vet as an

emergency because he was having trouble getting up and down, like his

joints were hurting him, and clear fluid was pouring from his nose. The

Vet and I suspected some type of autoimmune disease or tick fever. Well

looks like it is 's. Maybe we can share medications LOL.

There are times that I wondered if this was some type of a sympathy

reaction to me being sick. He is a very compassion dog. He was a

rescue so he was VERY poorly treated before we got him. I have found

that rescue dogs tend to have a closer connection with their owner.

Also, I was given medication for a Migraine when I went to the Dr,

Tuesday. Well obviously Imitrex is not a good idea for . My face

turned Beet red and was very tender to the touch, I started having an

asthma attack, and my heart began palpitating. Luckily I was able to

call my Bro-in-law who is an Internist who advised me to stop taking the

Imitrex (which I had honestly forgotten was a new drug). We are all

better today. I love my B.I.L., he saved me a trip to the ER. Most of

the time he just tells me whether or not I need to go to the Dr. or if I

am being overly sensitive, which I respect, since he cannot lay his

hands on me he cannot definitively say what is wrong.
