Guest guest
Dr. Shoffner wrote a letter and sent some articles. I sent several articles (more like many) showing how it was being used for cardiac issues and articles about mito. My blue cross is through the state teachers union. They approved it for one year and have continued to pay for it. The letter I sent pointed out that it was no different than treatment for diabetes to prevent more problems. Now I can just go through my case manager for things like this. Billing it under durable medical goods was the only way they said it could be billed, as it wasn't a prescription drug. laurie > From: mitooggo@... > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 21 Aug 2004 21:56:05 EDT > To: > Subject: Re: Re: ICD Code for Co Q-10 Help > > Laurie, Tell me more about how you got them to do this pretty please! Guest guest
Anita I think it was just a catch all kind of place to get it covered since it wasn't a script drug. It sure isn't durable. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 21 Aug 2004 20:53:13 -0000 > To: > Subject: Re: ICD Code for Co Q-10 Help > > Laurie, That's great to know.
