Hello Members,

Has anyone conceived after Myo? Has anyone had a baby after Myo?

What are some reasons doctors perform Hyster while doing a Myo?

I am 30 years old, no children and have very large fibroids. I was

diagnosed with fibroids in October 2003 and my doctor wanted to

perform a myo in January 2004. Due to a family member being on life

support I could not agree to surgery at that time. I had so much on

my mind I couldn't think.

In April 2003 I had an apmt with gyn...no fibroids. In October 2003

I had very large fibroids. I do not have symptoms...a little back

pain before my period. I have never taken bc pills or used tampons.

I am scheduled for an apmt with gyn this month to schedule surgery.

Though my doctor claims I will spend one day in hospital and can go

to work in 2-3 weeks. Are there different types of myo? I know all

women are different and heal differently ...from the posts most of

you needed 5-8 weeks.

I will appreciate any response if you can relate or want to share

answers to some of my questions...Thanks for your time!
