If you want some good info. on what happens to ovaries even with a hysterectomy

that saves your ovaries, type into your search engine 'Far Too Many

Hysterectomies Still Being Performed' .....it is a long report. It says that

ovaries can still fail, even though you have a hysterectomy which saves the

ovaries and cervix. Also, myomectomy does not cause ovaries to fail. If it

did, Reproductive Endocrinologists would not do them for women who are trying to

get pregnant !
