Hi Ginny, I hope that the doc puts you on something for the RA. As I understand it it is extremely painful. I have a friend who has it, she is scared to give herself the shot of methatrexate so I would give it to her every week. I know she suffered terribly from the RA. Why is this demented doctor pushing the optic neuritis on the back burner? Anything to do with the eyes needs immediate attention!!!! I would not wait for that loser, go see someone else, and ophthalmologist at least they will have a clue!!!! I am feeling better each day, still feel a little short of breath though.
