Guest guest
Oh Cindy, I wish I had something that I could say that would help you and Dylan. Dylan is so lucky to have you as his advocate. You're a fighter and that is what he needs to help get him the help he deserves. I can only imagine how you must feeling right about now and how tired and angry you just have to be. I'm so sorry. It just isn't fair. It is just so hard to constantly be fighting just to get our kids the medical care that they need and that is owed them. If you ever want to talk, please let me know. I wish I could really help. Please be sure to take care of yourself....physically, emotionally and every other way.
Guest guest
Thank you Mike, I'll check on him now and see if he is up willing to let me in his space. He is at that leave me alone spot right now, but I do have to give him his meds now, Thank you. Cindy Re: Home from a long ER visit. PS Mike tried to help me find the needed points by email, but I just felt lost with out the pics of where to go. And his pain was just to high to be touched. Hey Mike, Can you send me a pic of that eyebrow point? Is there a body around the house? > Cindy - I will see if I can get the wife to get the digital out tonight and get something posted or emailed to you. In the meantime, take a look at the picture of Dylan that you sent me and posted to the board. Look at the distance between his left eyebrow and his hairline. From the picture, it looks like if you had him looking straight ahead, the point would be in line with the center of his eye at the bottom edge of his hair. Another way to find it is if you lightly stroke your fingers downward on the forehead, the surface will be flat. Then you hit a slight edge of bone that forms part of eye orbital socket. The point is right there. Considering that his migraine is in full bloom at the moment and that he is extremely sensitive to touch, you may have difficulty touching him to use the points. So - try it off-body. Remember the Polarity variation I mentioned last night? Instead of using your finger tips, use the palms of your hands. If you can get him to sit up, stand on his left. Bring the palm of your right hand in just under the base of the skull. Cup your left palm over his forehead at the bottom of his bangs in that picture. Try to get your hands as close as is comfortable for him, but hopefully within at least three inches from the skin, or closer. When you are in this position, move your hands in a circular motion. In other words, you are standing with the edges of your hands toward the floor and your thumbs toward the ceiling. Just make a small circular motion with hands moving away from you, then down toward floor, back towards you, up and then away again. Try to keep the palms of your hands at the same distance from his head throughout the circular motion. The sensation you are looking for will be like a slight tickle or tingle in the middle of your palms. Direct contact working the points might be more effective, but sometimes you can't do it with migraines. This may be one of them, so the hands-off, off-body approach might be what you will have to try.
