Lin - Unfortunately, no I don't usually find myself getting sleepy when the shakiness starts. I only wish I could sleep......but I'm familiar with the "this is my warning sign" feeling you speak of. Glad you were close enough to somewhere where you didn't have very far to drive when it hit you. Take care. Tricia wrote:

Only sorry that I had to leave so soon like that......but there was a certain danger of my losing the ability to get myself home and becoming a more permanent fixture in your guest room ;) Fortunately, the parents were far too involved in their own drama to notice my condition when I got here, so there were no lectures about my driving and now, after quite a while in a more vertical position, and my good friend diazepan most of the shaking is gone....so I'm happy to say the gurney won't be necessary :)

Tricia,

I do the exact same thing. I will start to shake and I no that I had better be somewhere other than driving. One day I was waiting for a prescription and I can't remember what, but I was there standing no less. Finally I got my medications and when I got into the car I was shaking so bad that I knew I wasn't going to make the 3 mile drive home, fortunetly this was when was still home with her newborn. I told her what was going on and that I wasn't going to make it home, she wanted to come up, but I told her I thought I could make she only lives about 3 blocks away. I did make and laid down for awhile at her house.

Do you find yourself getting very sleepy because after I have one of those espisode ( for lack of a better word) I will sleep for awhile after, then I was able to go home.

Shakiness is now my signal that it is time to quit and lay down.

take care,

Lin

Lin,

Is the shakyness a sign of RSD? I get them so bad sometimes. Feel like I'm going to pass out but never do. I thought it was low blood sugar but it never shows that. I hate the feeling.
