Guest guest
Lawrence I can't offer much as to your question, but want to welcome you to the group. I have heard that elevated lactic acid in the brain can cause anxiety or panic attacks. I'm sure there is much more to it and that someone else has a better understanding. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Fri, 23 Jul 2004 07:25:59 -0000 > To: > Subject: Question about lactate levels > > What can happen because of elevated lactate levels in the brain? > > > > Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein > are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
I was told and we think that has happened to me a couple of times, have MRS showing episodes of seizures. We think my son had a stroke like event in November. Also, my sister went into 2 four day comas in 1994 and 1996 and 10 hours of seizures and a 2 week coma. Not much can be done about it from talking to the doctor who diagnosed us except an experimental drug called DCA which has its own side effects.
