Guest guest
Hi, As for withdrawal effects, the effects of withdrawal were better than those I was experiencing with the toxic dose. I actually ended up just stopping them cold turkey, due to the fact I was anxious to get rid of the toxic effect, and taking a lesser dose, didn't seem to help me sleep any way. If I remember right, I had a hard time getting any sleep for a few days, and then I started to get more after about 10 days, and then to my surprise, I was getting more sleep with NO Ambien than I was getting with 20mg of it. I had started out with 5mg dose and ended up having to take 20mg to sleep and that was considered a toxic dose. :-) Adam
Guest guest
My godmother (she's 80) was prescribed Ambien, and she went from one per night down to one half, and is planning to decrease to one quarter. Saves her money too, and less worry about liver problems. She had tried melatonin with no success. Take care, RH > Hi Donna, > > I have had long standing sleep problems.
