Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I'm still alittle under the weather. I have been reading all of the post and trying to keep up. Athena, I've been reading about your problems with your job or should I say the doctor you work for. I too am a CNT and worked for a group of 3 pulmonologist. A year ago I was fired but the difference was they waited until my mom had quad by-pass and they encouraged me to take time off to be with her. When I came back to work, a week later they let me go but they said it was due to excessive absenceses unrelated to illness. Boy, can you say they set me up?!! I had worked for them for almost 4yrs and I was the only nurse for the whole office. I was so hurt because it was a small christian office and we were all like family. After I was dx'd I could tell that everything had changed. I'm still really not over it. I did talk to a lawyer and he told me that in TN. they could pretty much fire me for any reason and there wasn't much I could do. They to told me that they were going to cut me to part time and that would mean no health ins. but when I didn't quit they just let me go. I wish people could be alittle kinder but when it comes down to the bottom line, even doctors don't really care. It hurts but the best advice I can give you is to try and stay calm and let it go. I'm just now letting it go and it cost me almost a whole year of bad health. Stress is the worst for us. Just remember, when God closes a door, he always opens a window. yes this morning I get a call telling me that i have my job still

but as i knew its only for 12 hrs and she wanted to know if i was

going on disbility, I'm trying to at this point but here i have 3 Dr

on my case and not a one is being very helpful!

I dont feel at this moment im up to working I very fatigued and in a

lot of pain all over! I feel like im being bounced around and all i

want is help, I always worked my wholse life and the one time i ask

to be given a break it seems like its coming out of thier pockets!!!

what the hell. How am I suppose to get well and not stress when I

have people like this who don't want to help me!!!
