Guest guest
Patty - Do not jump into a hysterectomy. It's kind of like knocking down a house when all you need to do is fix the walls in one room. Bad analogy. But, there are other options. Just because your sisters had hysts doesn't mean you have to, or should. Consider UAE or myo. I had a UAE in May this year. My bulk symptoms were all relieved by this procedure. My largest fibroid was 10cm. Hysts are prescribed by the unfortunately vast majority of out-of-touch gynos all over the world. This is not right but it is reality. do your research, and check out all the reference links for this group, and read Carla Dionne's book (among others.) Then you will be in possession of FACTS and you can base a decision on full evaluation of your options. best, laurie g.
