Hard to say whether media coverage will help you find a doctor, but it will help educate the public at large. It may be worth a shot, but ultimately you will still have to interview any doctor you may end up seeing. As for interviewing a doctor, you should start by making a list of what is most important to you in your potential MD and then form questions around how to determine if that MD wil meet your needs. It's a matter of trial and error. Unfortunately my glasses broke and my eyes can't stand anymore contact lens time, so I can barely read/write my email with the font size at maximum. I'll try to write up something this weekend about interviewing MDs. If anyone else has input on this, please share. My needs were pretty simple and easily addressed - what are the lab ranges for thyroid testing, and does the doctor have a good attitude and willingness to learn about EDS? =Barb
