I followed the directions in the files section under decorating. I

used Liquitex Gesso for the base coat. Delta Ceramcoat for the

color and Delta Interior Varnish for the tope coat in matte. It

worked well and looks nice. I do have to touch it up about every

other night as he is always bumping it and chipping the edges. The

other suggetion of spray might be more durable. My sons pic is at

the end of the N folder under H.
