Cathy, I hope the drs can get you down to a comfortable pain level by some means. I know alot of people who can not tolerate pain meds especially narcotics and it must be so frustrating that when you finally find something that gives you relief that you have to stop the treatment because it causes another problem to arise. it did help in the begining. but since i have stage 4 of rsd they wouldhave kliked to see me when it was stage 1 or 2. i was suppose to have 5treatments. but on the third one when came out i could hardley see.they said my eyes had absorbed too much ozygen and if i went in again iwould come out blind. i had premie eyes. my eyes are ver senstive tolight and odors. i was a premie. so the extra oxygen could have hurtthem. dam. when somethig good is working my body didn't like it andwham. same thing with pain meds. my body lke them but the brain didnotand i went into cardiac arrest and respatory arrest. so now no painmeds. i am calling the doctor onmonday. they have to find something.between the pain or rsd and bone cancer i cannot take the pain anylonger. hope hbo works for some
