I was not hurt in the traditional sense but rather my leaving had much to do with an incident or rather a number of instances people intrude on anothers business, feel it is their right/duty to put in their .02 where it wasnt requested and where accusations were hinted at with no provocation. I like several others here have grown close to a few members on this board and I have a friendships with them that extends beyond here. However jealousy and pettiness seem to come in to play while not written here but spoken aloud to others. I have only been directly provoked once or twice but others I have been in frequent contact with have had verbal provocation on several occasions. Being that this is a close knit group and family I had hoped it would blow over. However, that had not come to pass so I felt it best to withdraw so as not to further deal with certain individuals. It doesnt serve any purpose to name names as that would only cause more conflict...having talked to Ginny at length last night and taken the advice of several including yourself Barbara, I choose to return and post as usual but will be keeping careful in the future what I express directly to the posts. I care a great deal about the people on here and it was a difficult decision in the first place to make. I however am an adult and while retreat is usually my first defense I do return when the dust has settled. I hope that everyone here is having a good day, the weather here is nice for December and I really should be out enjoying it but I have alot of indoor things to attend to and I have a class tonight so Im ignoring the call of the sunshine and hope that it returns for a few more days! Hugs Donna I certainly hope that no one intentionally set out to hurt you....That would be inexcusable. Please, let's check our moods, folks. As I have stated previously the events that unrolled had not come from anything that was said on here but rather incidents that involve friends of mine and a past email that while at the time I took as a joke makes me wonder otherwise...*sigh* yanno petty stuff Thank you for the re-welcome however!
