Guest guest
Hi Gwennie, Welcome to the group....though so sorry that it looks like you have a disease that will make you fit right in here. I'm a relative " newbie' , too, and you've come to a place " inhabited " by LOTS wonderful, caring and knowledgeable people. I am SO impressed with your doc. They sound like one in a million to have even THOUGHT of mito for you. Maybe things in the medical world ARE slowly changing. Best Wishes in your mito journey. Wishing you many more up days than down. Anita in PA (thiamine-responsive PDH)
Guest guest
Anita ... Thank you for the warm welcome ... I am so blessed to have my Rheumatologist .... he has been so wonderful to me ... he is also my mother's Rheumatologist and that is actually how I met him was through my mom when I went with her to her first appointment with him when she relocated to live closer to me and need to have a new Rheumatologist that was easier to get to see as her former one is over 2 hours away now ... he is a wonderful man and has been so compassionate to me and all that I am going through ... I have cried on his shoulder many times and he always knows just what to say to boost my spirits right back up ... and from what I have read it seems that for many of you it has been a battle all on its own just to find out that you have Mito ... so now I feel even more blessed that my Rheumatologist had been so inclined to see if Mito is what I have with out me having to search and search for answers like so many others have had to do ... I also wish you good days and thanks again for your kind words ~ Gwenni ~ Hi Gwennie-Re: I am new to this group Hi Gwennie, Welcome to the group....though so sorry that it looks like you have a disease that will make you fit right in here.
