I am having the same sort of problems. Botox was suggested for me too and I think it is the same as what is going on with your hip. I have a formal diagnosis but at this very moment I cant remember what it is called. I wrote it down but cant remember where I put the note! LOL! You can write me off list if you want. Guest guest
I actually did have botox injections twice and that was before it was so popular for cosmetic surgery. MY left scapula was out at almost a 90 degree angle from my back. My surgeon sent me to a Physiatrist who gave me the injections in my shoulder. It was supposed to last anywhere from 3 to 6 months. It did make my scapula go flat against my back but within 3 weeks it was going back out. I also had shots on my hip for it pulls to the side and the IT Band flips over and gets stuck, it did not work there at all and then he topped up my shoulder again. I'm not sure what people meant by trigger points so I can't say if that is where I had the shots. I do know it would have been great if it wasn't almost all the way back in only 3 weeks. So I haven't had much luck either. I just thought I would let you know my experience.
