Guest guest Posted June 15, 2006 Report Share Posted June 15, 2006 One of the things to remember if you use baby oil is to wash it off their head once you've removed the scales. Leaving it on can make the cradle cap worse. I was putting a ton of stuff on my son's head and all I did was make him itch. Once I left it alone it looked much better and didn't bother him anymore. Eventually it cleared up.
