Guest guest Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 Sonya, has your experience matched the book? My experience says that if I eat dried fruit my BG goes up. In fact most of the truit makes my BG go up a lot. > > I found a list in there called " green light foods " (AKA: FREE FOODS) > These are foods that you can pretty much eat without worrying if they > will raise your Bg too much. Guest guest Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 Hi , I am a little over 3 weeks post diagnosis, but so far, I've been able to eat apples, strawberries, oranges, raisins, blueberries, and grapes without any rise in BGs. I don't care much for dried fruit, never have, plus there are a few other fruits on the list which I don't care for. But so far so good, no problems with me eating fruits. One of my favorites right now is Strawberries with fat free whipped cream. YUM. > > > > I found a list in there called " green light foods " (AKA: FREE FOODS) > > > These are foods that you can pretty much eat without worrying if > they > > will raise your Bg too much.
