Guest guest
Thanks Jo I do remember Deb saying she was using a Ketamine gel....not sure if it contained all the meds. Stacey's intestines don't work, so she doesn't eat, can't take pills, etc. They're putting the neurontin, elavil, ketamine, and lidocaine all into a cream. We had a bit of a delay getting it. When the pharmacy called me this morning (I thought--as I'd been told--to get the insurance info, they informed me it was cash only. Like forget it, no way, no how.....I called a different compounding pharmacy who'd take insurance. They had to get some more ketamine in, so will have it for me tomorrow afternoon. I'm having to go pick it up to keep from waiting longer, but after this, they'll overnight it. As for me, well I'm trying to take care of me. It's kind of difficult when the heartstrings are getting stomped on. My pain is off the scale, but I'm trying to cope. Deb (debgena) has been using the compounding gels for several years and, I believe, is satisfied with the way they work, so hopefully, this will be the case with your daughter as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.... Are you taking care of YOU?Hugs,Jo
