Janet...I just wanted you to know how pleased I am with Dr Tick. He

was able to prove Dr Peltier's dx of conversion disorder wrong. He

ordered an EMG to be done by Dr eh only and it showed disease

of the muscle. Dr eh said that Dr. Tick may be on to something

with the mito suspicion. I am hoping I can get eh to take me as

a patient even though he has a full caseload.

Dr Tick is an amazing man. He puts a lot of effort into his genetic

patients. He is so throurough and does a lot of consulting with

other Drs. He talked to my PCP while I was in the room and I could

hear both ends of the conversation. He wants me to have a muscle

biopsy, but plans to talk to some specialist that he knows regarding

my case. HE does not want to miss anything and wants to use my

tissue properly. He definitely is an idealist and does things right.

I am very happy with him. He gets a lot done in a short amount of

time.

Take care,

Dawn

Hi Dawn,

Glad things are working out for you. Glad he is talking to your PCP. I

know he is hard to get to do the routine paperwork once in awhile, but he

does come thru in a crisis like when I had to page him for my son in

November. So how did he word his news to you about Dr Peltier being

wrong? (you can email me at jsample@...) I know that he highly

recommended her back in 1997 and that they had worked on a few cases

together. Even in November when we were down there discussing my treatment

options for the diabetes and stuff he recommended her.
