Guest guest
Hi Laurie, I have not had a muscle biopsy yet, but the preliminary work up did show over half of my amino acids were very low. Worse in my urine than my blood and they felt that due to diet restraints I was not getting enough protein and that was the reason. I am planning on having them retest now that I have increased the protein in my diet to be sure. I have a feeling it is going to be still low. Does anyone know the reason why amino and organic acids are low in Mito? Guest guest
Adam I have asked repeatedly and keep being told that low values are not significant. I wonder if they are even looking at all of us and seeing that there are many of us with mito with this kind of test results and put their heads together to figure it out. I will try to ask during the " ask the doctor " time at the conference. laurie > From: AdamM321@... > Reply-To: > Date: Thu, 13 May 2004 04:55:26 EDT > To: > Subject: pyruvate/lactate/ Laurie > > Hi Laurie, > > I have not had a muscle biopsy yet, but the preliminary work up did show over > half of my amino acids were very low. Guest guest
Laurie, I would be intersted in this also as my testing in Cleveland showed my amino acids to be way off and very low. Please let me know what they say at conference.
