Guest guest
Well..Noise is something I don't have to worry about. I don't hear anything but tinnitus without the CI on and you don't wear a CI to bed. I just want to thank everyone for the kind comments that have been given since I told you about the O2. I'm still waiting for the RT to come. She's late but hopefully, she'll get here before the end of her shift. I do appreciate all the tips. Hopefully, she can answer all my questions when she gets here and I will know whether I'm supposed to use it only at night or during the day too. Since I have pulmonary testing scheduled at the hospital next week, we may not have that answer until then or when I see the pulmonary specialist on 6/4. Laurie - I use distilled water for my CPAP so I always have it in the house. Alice I miss the noise of my concentrator and CPAP when they aren't there. It is a nice white noise, especially since I live on a two lane highway with lots of trucks. I have my concentator at the end of the hall outside my bedroom so it isn't as loud, but I still hear it as white noise. laurie when I am going away for a few days, they send me out a portable concentrator to take with me. This of course needs electric and makes noise, which drives me nuts!! I like the " liquid oxygen " so much better as it requires no electric, (even though my home is set up with an automatic generator that comes on in less than 60 seconds of power failure) but no concentrator means no noise. >
