Guest guest
Hi Laurie, A family with multiple allergies must make things SUPER challenging! Something to hold your mouth open during dental work to rest the jaw and to prevent accidental biting sounds like a great idea. I'm sure the dentist would appreciate it, too! Newbie question . I've heard of the term myoclonus (in fact I think I've heard it applied to me). Is there any particular way that generally manifests for mitos? Thanks, Anita
Guest guest
Anita It is when a body part jerks without any conscience thought. Mine is much less since being on Lamictal (anti-convulsant that also calms nerves), but still get it some. It worse when I am tired. My entire body has been known to jump off the bed, landing on the floor. Most of the time it is smaller jerks, but it still can make things challenging to carry fragile items to prevent from dropping them. As for challenges, our family has Ehler Danlos syndrome with various symptoms, the allergies and then the mito. We get by with lots of laughter and acceptance. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sun, 09 May 2004 16:30:41 -0000 > To: > Subject: Bug: dental work, myoclonus? > > Hi Laurie, A family with multiple allergies must make things > SUPER challenging!
