Iam going to have the surgery next year if all goes well and my insurance approves it. With my insurance I have to go to 6 months of counseling and a 6 month program at OSU (GO BUCKS!!) hospital and lose 5% of my weight before the surgery. I have lost the 5%, am still in counseling past the 6 month period and I have about 12 weeks left in the OSU program. The hospital has approved me. My doctor has given them my weight history for the past five years (up and up and up some more). I'm a little nervous about the surgery so I don't read any of the posts about that.....I tend to overthink things. I just want to be a " normal " weight for the last half of my life.
