Guest guest
I have a question for those on Lamictal for myoclonis or restless leg syndrome or for any other reason. I was wondering if you had to have blood tests regularly, or when you first started on it and what exactly the tests would be. I just received lab reports from quite a work-up. There were some tests on there that I wasn't sure what they were, but after looking at them, I am wondering if it is because of the Lamictal Also, what dose are most people on? I am on 200 mg twice a day. Thanks, a
Guest guest
a I did not have to have lab work done when on Lamictal. I take 200 mg. twice a day. Took 100 mg for awhile when starting it. It works wonderfully for me. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 24 Apr 2004 16:46:43 -0500 > To: > Subject: Lamictal > > I have a question for those on Lamictal for myoclonis or restless leg > syndrome or for any other reason. Guest guest
Laurie and Cindy, Thanks for your response. I didn't know what the terms meant when I got back the labs and I was surprised when I looked on the web about Lamictal and the terms. I was surprised by the uses of Lamictal that were focused on and wanted to make sure others were also having success with it for myoclonus and restless leg syndrome. I think my doctor only did this blood work because I was having other things tested and he probably wanted to know the toxicity, but wondered if it would have to be done more often. Thanks and smiles, a On Sat, 24 Apr 2004 21:20:18 EDT Momto4fabkids@... writes: a, I have had blood work done once. They are checking for Lamictal toxicity. I take 200 mg's twice a day as well.
