Oh yes!!! I have dealt with it for about 25 or 30 years. But, a year and a

half ago I was put on 02 at night (and as needed during the day) and low and

behold I have only had serious eye pain a handful of times since. My

muscles in general hurt less, but the eye muscle thing was such an

improvement that I noticed it within just a few days. I had a crash a few

weeks back that put me down and out for over a week and during that time my

eyes hurt real bad, but on a regular basis it isn't too bad at all. Still do

have double vision though. That didn't change.

Hi my 8 year old son has a lot of trouble with this. I've made him a

slant board to use at school, this has really cut down on eye muscle pain. I

also

make sure he wears his sun glasses when the sun is out, this to helps. Try to

get enough rest, and avoid stress if possible these things really take a toll

on your eyes. I wish I could help more if I think of anymore I'll post it OK

Hi,

I have had lots of trouble with eye muscle pain, but not currently. I have

found that when I have it, it is due to overusing my eyes. Too much reading,

or watching TV. TV watching tends to keep my eyes focused in one position and

that doesn't help either. Too much computer, or things that require a lot of

intense scrutiny. Suchas, looking at lots of figures or long lists of things,

computer games? for kids.

When I have the muscle pain, I try to cut back on what I am using my eyes for

and give them a rest until the pain resolves. I also try doing range of

motion movements with my eyes morning and night, and use eye drops if my eyes

are

dry.

It is always hard to cut back, especially if there are things you have to do,

but it will help a lot.
