He just cannot seem to make himself go to bed at night, and wakes up a lot during the night, strange dreams, etc. Some of this has been atributed to his medication for Narcolepsy, which is Provogil. He has just read some info on it on a list. I'm hoping that once he gets on Ritilin, it may be better, but perhaps it's just an ADD thing. He gets obsessive at times also - when we leave to go visit our parents, he has a certain routine he does before we pull out of the driveway; that's fine, but he usually does it at least TWICE! LOL! I've learned to kind of live with it now, but it took a lot of time. It has helped also, for him to hear from Mayo, that the medication is NOT working as it should, and that he DOES have ADD. He still would rather call it Narcolepsy - and technically, I guess it is just a matter of which word you use, as they are treated with the same drugs; but I just want him to learn about ADD and how OTHERS react to his actions/responses, etc. Know what I mean?
