Guest guest Posted April 16, 2004 Report Share Posted April 16, 2004 I wanted to let those of you dealing with hearing loss know that I checked to see if there would be any accomodations made to assist the hearing impaired at the UMDF Conference. The answer I got was that there are no plans for accomodations for the hearing impaired. If this could affect your ability to participate and enjoy the conference, please e mail them and let them know that you have a need. Since hearing loss is part of the disease, some type of accomodations should be made if patients are going to attend the conference.
