Dear Alice,

I was glad I put a smile on your face yesterday morning. You make my

day, Alice, many more times than you know.

Take care, and watch out for those desert storms! Aw, but you are a New

Englander, and a touch of bad weather is no big deal.

We have a lovely lady who helps our post mistress, and she is from

Providence, RI, and has that lovely accent. I often think of you when

I'm talking to Joyce.

Wishing you all the best on Easter Monday. I can't think of a better day

all year to have a CI hookup.

(I am off to NYC in the morning, seeing doctors this week. I am going to

ask for the new surgery for the gastric pacemaker. The gastroparesis is

often making my life a bit miserable. However, I don't yet know if my

ins. would cover it.)

Yes.. I am a New Englander and sometimes I laugh at what people call " storms "

here. This has really been an unusual weekend although it seems to have settled

down finally.

..good luck in NYC this week and please travel safely and come back with

good news. I'll be thinking of you. I also wish for you a very warm and Happy
